Not only is it a perfect time to visit the Lakes Region of New Hampshire but you can also spend a day or two with Linda Scherz Allen, as you weave one or more of her unique miniature baskets.
Below you can see just a small sampling of the kits Linda has to offer. She is one of our prized teachers and she will make this trip over here, just for you. It’s always a special event when you’re in class with her.
Linda’s class structure of Open Weave has proven to be most popular, allowing you to choose from a wide variety of kits based on your skill level. Linda will share her skills and knowledge with you as you experience waxed linen, cotton cord and beads, your way. This event is for the beginner to the advanced weaver. This is a great opportunity to weave some of the larger or more advanced baskets that are not offered at conferences. The pictured baskets are just a small sample of the basket kits being offered. There are many different shapes and sizes to choose from.
Plan to join us, bring a friend, and stay a while. Weave and relax at our cozy shop in the country setting of the Lakes Region of New Hampshire.
Do you have a particular miniature basket you want to weave or a technique you want to learn? Contact Linda prior to class to discuss your weaving wishes.
Registration and fees are due immediately. All checks should be made payable to Linda Scherz Allen and mailed to Jean Reed, Murray Hill Weaving, 685 Murray Hill Road, Hill, NH 03243.
Contact Jean with any questions. You can also call 978-621-9872 or 603-744-9737. Linda can be reached at 315-771-1210 for your weaving level/workshop questions.
Due to the high cost of travel expenses, materials and extensive hours of preparation, refunds will be granted on an individual basis, as long as every attempt is made by students to attend class. Full refunds are granted when someone from the waiting list takes your place. Kit fees are due day of class and range from $25-$60. Plan to bring a brown bag lunch with you.
