This versatile, short footstool is a reproduction of an antique found in a local shop. The woven pattern is an old classic done in reed. If you place a piece of Plexiglas on the weaving, it makes a great table topper or plant holder.
Spend a few hours with me and let me instruct you on how to create your own reproduction. Students will work with reed and learn a very basic pattern that is great for any chair or footstool they have stored in the attic or barn.
Your fee includes all a hand-crafted footstool, all materials to complete your weave and a Plexiglas top.
No previous weaving experience is needed.
Class fee is $75. A 50% deposit is required. Make checks payable to Jean Reed and mail to 685 Murray Hill Road, Hill, NH 03243. Contact Jean with any questions. Students should bring a brown bag lunch, hand towel, scissors and spray bottle.
